Going in, you can pick up a menu and either have a sit or stand by the entrance. Then place your order with the cashier. They will give you a buzzer and bring the food to you. Food is delicious. Pretty cold in there but I like it. Kid friendly.

Amazing service here. Everyone is beyond happy to assist you. I was waiting for a to go order and didn’t realize I was sittting at the bar tables and they were fine with me sitting here while I wait. The Asian salmon was amazing and perfectly cooked, my latte was hot and no over sweetened and the fish tacos were perfection! I also got a tiramisu, my favorite dessert, and it was one of my top five I have ever eaten. When you walk in the door for brunch they have a mimosa station and lady ready to serve you! It’s pretty awesome! Thank yall for the tasties and the friendly and fast service! Always one of my favorite places to eat!

Great food, atmosphere and service! We had the steak & eggs and both things were cooked to perfection just like we had ordered them! The salsa it came with was so flavorful, the avocado and seasoned potatoes completed the meal. Y’all gotta try out the Texas Pecan coffee, it’s the flavor of the month, so good!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to the staff for accommodating our large party today. Since we weren’t able to make a reservation, we went in with a little dream and a prayer that we would be able to have some tables to surprise our friend with a baby sprinkle. The manager and several others worked so hard to combine tables for us. I know it wasn’t easy! Our waiter, Andres, was so helpful and kind and even took some pictures for us!! I know they were ready for us to leave so the tables could be cleared, but they didn’t rush us out. Just very very grateful that we were able to do this for our friend at one of her favorite restaurants! Thank you again!!

This was my first time visiting Black Walnut Kitchen and Bar. I was recommended to come to this location and it did not disappoint. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the manager Burke. She was so kind and welcoming explaining how the dining experience goes and even got my grandson a coloring page with markers. Jennifer my server was so sweet and excellent. I was checked on by Burke and the wonderful staff. Food was great and will definitely be back again when I visit! Sincerely, Lynette

Celebrated my 25th birthday here and everything was amazing. The Nashville chicken sandwich was flavorful and the melon mojito was refreshing. They even gave a free slice of cake which made me feel very special. Amazing service!

Black Walnut Cafe totally hit the spot! The food was fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. The blueberry pancakes were thick, fluffy, and topped with a rich blueberry compote that had just the right amount of sweetness. We also loved the tomato basil soup—it was creamy, comforting, and packed with flavor, especially with the croutons, cheese, and pesto on top. The crispy cauliflower appetizer was a surprise favorite—perfectly golden, lightly spiced, and sprinkled with sesame seeds and scallions. And that crab cake benedict? Pure brunch heaven. The hollandaise was smooth and rich, and the crab cakes were loaded and not too bready. It came with a fresh mixed greens salad and paired perfectly with our latte. Chill vibes, great service, and a menu that nails breakfast, brunch, and beyond. Definitely coming back!

I was amazed by the customer service of this place! I was greeted when I came in and he kindly relayed how the seating and ordering system worked! The Americano was better than Starbucks and cheaper priced! They even gave me the accommodation of giving me Cayenne pepper for my coffee as I requested.
